ABOUT ME

For the last 25 years I have been focussed on my career as a medical imaging professional in Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging.  In doing so, I realized that my true passion was teaching, as the majority of my professional positions had a teaching and training component to them.  Therefore, I decided to pursue a teaching license through the State of Iowa Board of Educational Examiners in order for me to realize my true aspiration.  I am currently enrolled in the Regent's Alternative Pathway to Iowa Licensure (RAPIL) to obtain a license to teach students at the secondary level.  My area of concentration is currently life sciences, biology and/or chemistry, all of which I am endorsement eligible.  Upon completion of the RAPIL program, my goal is to attain a position as a licensed educator either at the Junior High or Senior High School level.
